My Touring Plans

The children and I are planning a trip to Walt Disney World. I am posting our touring plan here so some friends can give input.

Thursday Drive to WDW

Leave house 6am
Lunch on road
Arrive Fort Wilderness at 3:30pm
Set up campsite
Dinner – BLT’s
Watch wishes fireworks at 9pm on Clementine Beach

Friday Crowd level 4
AK 8a – 12:30p
Leave the campsite at 6:00am
Get to park by 7:30am for Rope Drop
1. Ride Kilimanjaro Safaris: 7:55am – 8:25am
2. Ride Expedition Everest: 8:40am – 8:55am (Ride Photo!)
3. Kali River Rapids (?) 9:10am – 9:30am
4. Maharajah Jungle Trek: 9:30am – 10:00am
5. Morning snack while exploring Tree of Life 10:00am-10:30am
AK - Benches on the Discovery Island Trails back where ITTBAB lets out
6. Potty Break, then get in line for Nemo
7. Watch Finding Nemo, the musical: 11:00am – 11:40am
8. Wander out of AK and make way to DHS 12:00pm – 1:00pm
OR (If KS not open during EMH)
Get to park at Rope Drop
1. Ride Expedition Everest: 7:55am – 8:25am (Ride Photo!)
2. Possibly ride again
3. Take in atmosphere of park while wandering over to line up for Kilimanjaro Safari
4. Ride Kilimanjaro Safari 9:00am - 9:30am
5. Maharajah Jungle Trek: 9:30am – 10:00am
6. Morning snack while exploring Tree of Life 10:00am-10:30am (AK - Benches on the Discovery Island Trails back where ITTBAB lets out)
7. Potty Break, then get in line for Nemo
8. Watch Finding Nemo, the musical: 11:00am – 11:40am
9. Wander out of AK and make way to DHS 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Then DHS 1p – 7:30p
1. If arrive soon enough, may do Animation Academy (ask CM at entrance about wait)
2. Ride Toy Story Mania with FP+, 1:30pm – 2:00pm (FP+ 1:20pm-2:20pm)
3. Wander down Sunset Boulevard, eating late lunch – Meatloaf Muffins
4. Watch Beauty and the Beast 3:00pm – 3:30pm
5. Potty break
6. Find seats for Indiana Jones 3:40pm – 4:00pm
7. Watch Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular 4:00pm – 4:30pm
8. Ride Star Tours 4:40pm – 5:00pm (FP+ 4:00pm – 5:00pm)
9. Muppet Vision 3D 5:10pm – 5:30pm
10. Ride Tower of Terror 5:50pm – 6:15pm (5:35pm – 6:35pm) (Ride Photo!)
11. Ride Rockin’ Roller Coaster 6:20pm – 7:05pm (Ride photo!)
12. Find seats for Fantasmic and have dinner. – Ham&Cheese sandwiches

Visit World Showcase beginning with Canada.
Lunch at top of waterfall in Canada. (pizza muffins)

Seminar at Epcot at 9:30a (based on past reviews, seminar should last about 90 minutes)

2. Jungle Cruise 1:40pm – 2:00pm (FP+ 1:00pm – 2:00pm/1:05pm – 2:05pm)
